Marco Belinelli gave an interview to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' in which he talked about his Virtus Bologna ambitions in the Euroleague, where he will make his debut against Anadolu Efes on Friday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. at the Unipol Arena, expecting to return to the Virtus Segafredo Arena in December.
"We are a new team, we are trying to form a group and get to know each other better, there's a lot of desire to do well and restart from the positive things we did last year trying to give our best" stressed the captain of the Bologna team.
"Last year we arrived a little bit cooked, the injuries that deprived us of Hackett and Cordinier for a month in the crucial phase of the season have affected – added the HCL guard -. We are a younger team this year, we can have our say with a faster game to look for easy baskets on the counterattack".
"I don't deny the regret of not having a teammate like Dunston anymore, but we have strengthened and can be competitive" concluded Belinelli.
