Strike at the Bentegodi: Verona knocked out, Torino in the lead
A victory worth the top of the championship.
Toro struck at the Bentegodi in Verona, in front of 23,000 spectators including a thousand granata. Vanoli’s solid team defeated Verona with a 3-2 win signed Sanabria-Zapata-Adams, maintaining their unbeaten streak and climbing to the top of the standings while awaiting Saturday and Sunday’s matches. Torino è was facilitated by the wretched expulsion of defender Dawidowicz, which left Hellas in ten from 20'of the first half on the score of 1 to 1, but then legitimized the victory with two more goals.

Second half. Zanetti makes the second substitution in Verona: in goes Daniliuc for the exhausted Lazovic. The gialloblù try to throw their hearts over the hurdle, three corners, nothing done. Gineitis, shot from outside directed to the edge of the post, good for Montipò that ends up in the corner. 33': Adams, taking advantage of a defensive indecision, è deadly, closing (virtually) the game with a great diagonal shot. Three to one for Torino. Livramento has the ball to open it again a minute later, loses the moment for the shot, then kicks, ball over the opposite cross. In comes Dembele in the Toro (36'), in the Verona Lambourde (40'). It takes the last mile, Mosquera reopens it in the second minute of recovery but è too late for Hellas.
