Fabio Di Giannantonio finished the Sprint Race in ninth position

Still not at one hundred percent after the injury that had kept him out of the Grand Prix of Austria, Fabio Di Giannantonio nevertheless obtained a ninth position that, considering only the Sprint Races run after his return, è his best personal result in short races. There is, however, no shortage of regrets, according to the words of the Roman driver himself.

"Let’s start from the qualification – began Di Giannantonio, analyzing a bittersweet Saturday for him -, a real pity because, as on other occasions, we suffered a lot from the grip behind. In the race then, the’intensityè è was really high, I tried to manage and push, but I could not take it anymore" at the end".

"We knew it – admitted the centaur who will also be part of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team next year – and that’s why we have to take the positive: we are lì, we are fast and with the average, which we will use tomorrow, the effort è less at the physical level. A bitter sweet Saturday but positive overall".

Since returning to the track, Di Giannantonio finished 15th in the Sprint Race at Aragon and eighth in the race, in the first weekend at Misano he è retired on Saturday and finished ninth twenty-four hours later, while at Misano-bis, last week, he finished the Sprint Race in 18th place and the Grand Prix in 14th.
