Coach Etttore Messina commented on the loss to the Monegasques as follows: "Congratulations to Coach Obradovic and his team. I think the game was practically decided by what happened in the first half, where we were physically overpowered. Seventeen points from offensive rebounds, and in general physically we struggled in all positions".
"In the second half we took the court with three longs on the court, Ricci as a small forward,‖ explained the Red Shoes’ coach. We performed better at rebounding and I think we moved the ball much better. In the end we scored 52 points in the second half against a'very good team on defense".
"We were not at the right level of physicalityà today, we need to learn, and do better. And we will. In the first half we were extremely soft. We did not have any competitive attitude and that è was very worrying. In the second half we definitely played a different game" concluded Messina.
