Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini triumph in Beijing WTA 1000 doubles
Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini won the China Open, the WTA 1000 in Beijing. Pfor them è their fourth triumph of the season.
The two Italian women defeated Taiwan’s Hao-Ching Chan and Russia’s Veronika Kudermetova in the finals with a score of 6-4 6-4.
With this success Sara and Jasmine, who are in third position in the Race rankings, reached mathematical qualification for the WTA Finals in doubles, which will be held in Riyadh.
This year Sara and Jasmine won the Olympic title in Paris 2024 on the courts of Roland Garros, where they had lost the French lam final two months earlier, but they also triumphed in Linz and at the Internazionali d’Italia in Rome.
