The Austin GP has è ended triumphantly for Ferrari, which scored an extraordinary one-two with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, allowing the Italian team to relaunch itself considerably in the fight for the Constructors’ Championship. "The fight è very tight since the beginning of the year and by details sometimes you are faster than the others, but we have to keep our concentration high without considering ourselves world champions because è we are not. "We did an extraordinary job and managed to be consistent and competitive all weekend. We got important points and it was crucial for us. In the Sprint, Turn 1 è was crucial becauseé there were not many overtakes, while in the race è it was different and Charles è was very good at taking advantage of the duel between Verstappen and Norris to take the lead. At that point we knew we had to manage the tire well and both drivers did a superlative job in that aspect. Now we will face the next races with even more motivation and confidence" added the French sports executive.
"We have to remain calm becauseé there are still five races to go, there are so many points up for grabs between now and the end and that means we can get more good results in the upcoming events. Counting the Sprints there are still about 200 points up for grabs. Anything è possible for us, but the key thing è is to focus on performance without thinking that everything is done" concluded Frederic Vasseur.
