Soì Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur, at the podcast "F1 Nation" ahead of next Sunday’s Mexican Grand Prix.
"We are not thinking about the championship and I want to keep this state of mind in the team because I think it is important to focus on pure performance, session after session, and not have the championship in mind".
"If anything canò come to the end, it will be more from the day-to-day performance than from the approach of the overall championship – adds the French manager – We know perfectly well that next week will be a completely different challenge".
"What I want,” Vasseur explains, “is for people to take more risks and have the power to take risks. I think we are in this state of mind and approach. For sure, we have to improve, we have done some things to improve and it is important to keep this mindset.
But when one weekend is over, another begins, and the focus now è turns to the Mexican GP and we will start again from scratch: "Even when you get a good result,” concludes Ferrari’s team principal, “it’s not è the end of the story and to come back on Monday with a long list of things to improve when you’re winning è a good mentality ".
