Andy Roddick drastic after Jannik Sinner triumph

Former world number one Andy Roddick in an interview with the podcast "Served with Andy Roddick" harshly criticized the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament, held in Saudi Arabia, and especially the resounding prize money ($6 million) that Jannik Sinner è secured after his final victory.

"It doesn&#39t bother me that Sinner received more than a quarter of what I have earned in my entire tennis career in just three days…&quot, joked Roddick, who è perè hard on the tournament's organization. "The whole performance è appeared unnatural. È it was fun, like an exhibition, but without the charm of, say, the Laver Cup, where you see the interactions between players and legends brought back to the tennis court".

" &easier to pay Jannik Sinner $6 million when you are not responsible for 122 other players, plus doubles and other variables. Here there'è only one field, not a million fields to manage and schedule. There are no expenses and è a marketing budget for a government. È great just for them and for the players".

"Medvedev got 1.5 million for an hour of performance. I did it in Abu Dhabi, but not for those figures (laughs). Six million… is three good days".
