Mario Balotelli è returned to Serie A: Genoa has decided to bet on him to move up the standings and away from the hot zone. At the moment the Grifone occupies the third-last place ahead of only Lecce and Venezia.
Interviewed by Dazn, Luciano Spalletti spoke clearly about Balotelli’s possible return to the national team: "We don’t close the doors to anyone, we can’t tell someone that he can’tò aim to get there. We have to absorb all that is good in soccer and make it available to this team".
In Azzurro there'è also Moise Kean, Balotelli's great friend: "In the last convocation he wasn't available because he had a problem but he did not hesitate to come and be examined by doctors. You can read a certain maturity in him; before seeing him from the outside he looked like he still had some growing up to do, while now that I know him more thoroughly I find him matured. He has these qualities; but è he is also a bomber, he feels the goal and we need players with his personality.
Mario Balotelli chose Genoa after breaking free from Adana Demirspor in the summer. He has not played in our top league since the 2019-2020 season, when he wore the Brescia jersey on 19 occasions before going to Serie B side Monza.
