The Bianconeri’s first half is one of great suffering, because the hosts, when they accelerate, hurt. It goes to halftime on the double lead of Galtier’s team, which, however, gets distracted: it is punished by newcomer McKennie, who takes advantage of an ill-calculated exit by Donnarumma to halve the disadvantage. The Campania goalkeeper made up for it shortly after with a fine save on Vlahovic.
The Bianconeri did not get out of the game thanks in part to Perin, but Paris Saint Germain was no longer surprised and won 2-1.
