Matteo Berrettini è returned to speak with Sportmediaset the day after his Davis Cup triumph: "It’s not just mine and Sinner’s Finals but all of Italy’s becauseé in the end we are lucky enough to have a very long team".

" We were good to be ready in the last part, forò in Bologna Matteo Arnaldi and Flavio Cobolli were just as ready, the doubles guys were very ready even not to take the court, itè not a given. Jan and I brought the points home, but the others supported us and that è the strength of the group".

"Maybe in the next few days I will realize" well all that we did. It's been a very intense week, a long year, so I'm super happy and I have even more awareness of the level expressed, the group we have created and the emotions we have experienced".

Christmas wrap-up: "Under the tree I want to find these moments, these smiles, these emotions, which in the end are the ones that make me get up in the morning to train hard and try to improve every day. I realized that this è the most important thing beyond results, cups and trophies. How you get there è the most important thing and so I hope for a 2025 full of excitement".
