Salvatore Bagni remembers Diego Maradona

Four years after the passing of Diego Armando Maradona, some of his former teammates at Napoli made some statements to the microphones of CalcioNapoli1926.it, remembering the Pibe de Oro.

Among them there è Salvatore Bagni, who played with Maradona since his arrival in Naples until 1988 and è was one of his closest teammates: "My house è was his house, Diego lived here for 25-30 years, he used to come to Cesenatico for at least 10-15 days a year, he was fine. This whole house reminds me of him, every passage, every room, every ball he touched reminds me of him".

"I think I lived him deeply, even maybe bothering him in some situations, but never in front of other people,” added l'former Azzurri soccer player. “Always me and him, we opened up and each talked about our weaknesses. This was Diego".

" For me è he was a brother, a friend and he really found from us the affection of a family and he was really happy to stay here. When he left Buenos Aires he would say to his wife Claudia now I am going to my house in Cesenatico and this for me è was a symptom of great pride" concluded Bagni.
