Jorge Martin gets unbalanced ahead of 2025
During an interview given to the microphones of the "Mundo Deportivo", the newly crowned MotoGp world champion Jorge Martin, among the various topics covered, expressed himself in no uncertain terms about his new adventure in Aprilia and the favorites to win the title next season.
"It's normal to bet on Ducati. They have Pecco and Marquez who are the riders with more MotoGp titles and the bike canù win. They will undoubtedly be the favorites to win in 2025. I don’t know what to expect yet. I have to start and see how the bike goes. It's clear that Aprilia can win and it already proved it last year and next year it can only get better" began the Spanish centaur.
"Winning the World Championship è a big word. I don’t even think about it right now. Now è the time to start from scratch, see when we can make our first podium, our first victory and from there; we will try to continue to grow and find continuityà of results. I am convinced that we will have more chances to fight for the title in 2026" added the former Ducati Pramac rider.
"The fight with Pecco è has been very intense these past two years. It's true that we have a very good relationship and maybe that can ì make ì that it doesn't mark the story so much, because è the strong rivalries'not only on the field, but also off it are always the ones that remain most impressed. I think the sport is improving, there'è a lot more technology, a lot more studies at the physical level. I am convinced that we pilots are better than in the past, but in the end everyone lives their own time and right now Pecco and I are the mostù strongest" Jorge Martin commented.
