F1, Ferrari needs someone’s help in Abu Dhabi
The Cavallino has 21 points to make up in the last GP
With great pride and a bit of luck, Ferrari prevented McLaren from partying in Qatar. The Constructors World Championship will be awarded in Abu Dhabi, site of the last GP of the season (scheduled for the weekend). There are 21 points to make up to McLaren. Very complicated but not impossible mission.
Since the Singapore GP, Ferrari has sewn up the gap with the British team significantly (from 75 points to the current 21). However, to complete the comeback, it needs a perfect race from Leclerc and Sainz and, most importantly, the help of someone else (or a debacle of at least one McLaren on the track).
It would not be enough for Ferrari to place its two single-seaters in first and second positions, should its rival respond with a 3° and 4° place or even a 3° and 5° place. To be sure of winning the constructors’ title, the Rossa must do a one-two and hope that Norris and Piastri are far behind at the finish line (3° and 6° place at least).
In short, someone's help is needed or the debacle of at least one McLaren. Clearly, Verstappen and Mercedes could be decisive in this race for the Constructors World Championship. The problem è that Verstappen is always aiming for victory and Mercedes has no interest in doing anyone any favors (as è they should). In short, they will need the perfect race and a bit of luck, as in Qatar. The important thing will be to give 100 percent so as not to have any regrets.
