Vincenzo Italiano warns of'Empoli and heralds lineup changes
These are the statements made in the press conference by Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano on the eve of the challenge with Empoli’Empoli, valid for the first leg of the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.
“We certainly will not make the mistake of underestimating a team like Empoli. If they have come this far it is because they have deserved it, they have a young squad with a lot of quality, plus I have always suffered on that field. We will need maximum attention to make a great performance that can allow us to put the double confrontation on our side. We all really play for each other and I expect a very complicated match” began the Bologna coach.
“Castro will not be available for tomorrow’s match. He has started running a bit again’ these days and we will evaluate him for the next league match. Up front, however, we have a lot of people who are doing well and the goal with Venezia is a practical demonstration of what we have been rehearsing in training. There’s great confidence and we will need everyone” continued the coach of the Felsinei.
“Skorupski is going through a stratospheric moment of form and with his saves he is helping us score, but Ravaglia is also doing well. We will have to evaluate so many aspects because we have spent a lot in these last matches and the recovery time has been short. We will certainly have the chance to throw in players who have played less and therefore with a lot of energy to spend in this match” added the’former Fiorentina coach.
