Five say goodbye to Volley Bergamo 1991
Volley Bergamo 1991, through a note, announced that five of this season’s leading players will change jerseys over the summer.
“Each of them has written her own history wearing the Volley Bergamo 1991 jersey for the first time and under it has made a big and strong heart beat – it reads -. All of them have given everything. All, in their own way, have been able to be unique. And each, in her own way, has honored her task. Not only by fulfilling the mission they were entrusted with, but also by going above and beyond, overcoming their limitations and discovering themselves special. For some now comes the time to take flight to new horizons and say goodbye to Bergamo.”
“Vittoria Piani, Virginia Adriano, Alessandra Mistretta, Alice Farina and Ashley Evans are five mosaic tiles that will live new adventures away from the city that adopted them a year ago – they write again from Bergamo -. The championship that just ended saw them grow and overcome new obstacles. Now they leave even stronger and more mature. Wherever they go, they will take with them the awareness of having been part of a project that surprised and thrilled: they all played a leading role, all were accomplices in a ride that went beyond expectations. Bergamo will be part of them and they will always be part of Bergamo. Who thanks them for all they have been able and willing to give to this jersey.”
