In the first round of the Madrid Masters 1000, Mattia Bellucci, world number 66, was beaten with the score of 4-6 6-4 6-2 by Bosnian Damr Dzumhur, number 63.

The 23-year-old from Busto Arsizio has to save two beak balls in the second game of the first set, then in the next game he breaks his opponent’s serve at the fourth opportunity and holds the advantage until winning the first set after saving a break point at 4-3 and another at 5-4.

Mattia goes 2-0 up in the second set but here he begins to concede: first he gets his serve back at 2-2 and then, at 4-5, he has to break serve again and the second set.

The consecutive games won by Dzumhur are five, as the Bosnian goes up 3-0 in the third set even though at 2-0 he had to save himself from 0-40. Dzumhur misses a 5-1 ball, Bellucci in turn misses one in the next game but at 2-5 he loses serve to nil, and unfortunately also the match.
