After a six-year absence, Padova rediscovers Serie B. The Biancoscudata team, in fact, won direct promotion on the last day of Serie C thanks to a blank-net draw against Lumezzane and Vicenza’s subsequent knockout at home to Trento, which won 3-1.

The team coached by Matteo Andreoletti won Group A of Serie C with 86 points with a three-point advantage over the Venetians, thus completing the picture of those promoted to the cadet series after Virtus Entella and Avellino, who finished at the top of Group B and C, respectively.

As for the other verdicts in Group a of Serie C: Vicenza will start from the quarterfinals of the playoffs. L’Union Clodiense, on the other hand, will relegate to Serie D, while Triestina, Pro Vercelli, Pro Patria, and Caldiero Terme will have to go through the play-outs to keep their category.
