Ronaldinho is in Ravenna: Today’s Schedule

Ronaldinho has Ravenna in a frenzy: the Brazilian superstar landed at Forlì Airport on a private jet shortly before noon and is ready to begin his adventure with the Giallorossi. The 2002 World Cup champion will be Ravenna’s newest player at the age of 46, and he’ll try to score the final goals of his career in Italy’s Serie C.
There is great excitement in Marina di Ravenna ahead of the team’s presentation and Ronaldinho’s debut, as he will meet his fans for the first time. The stage has been set up on the beach adjacent to the Diga Foranea Sud, behind Piazzale della Marina.
The team presentation will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, and at that time, the Ravenna FC food & beverage and merchandise stands will also open. Happy hour begins at 6 p.m., while the main event will start at 8:30 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. At least 6,000 people are expected to attend, according to *Il Resto del Carlino*. After the party, the former Brazilian national team player will remain in Romagna: on Friday evening, he’ll be at the Space in Riccione.
“I never would have thought that a champion like Ronaldinho could come right here to Marina. We’re honored and hope to live up to the occasion. It will be a great celebration,” said Marino Moroni, president of the Marina di Ravenna tourist board. “The Ravenna Calcio presentation on our beach, followed by the two evenings with Radio Studio Delta, are the crowning achievements of an important summer for Marina, where we’ve taken the first steps toward revitalizing the town: from the return of the greased pole climb to the reopening of the lighthouse and the events that kicked off with the Sea Festival. “We hope that the Giallorossi event and the festival can become a regular fixture for the period after Ferragosto,” according to a statement reported by *Il Resto del Carlino*.
