Messi will be there, Cristiano Ronaldo will not. Those hoping to see them both at the Club World Cup will be disappointed. CR7 has decided that he will not participate in the new, long-awaited tournament made by Fifa (scheduled for June 14 to July 13 in the United States).

The’Al-Hilal, one of the 32 teams that will participate in the Club World Cup, would have liked to include the Portuguese star in its list of players. An’offer “part time” to have a striker worth Cristiano Ronaldo in a tournament that will be seen around the world.

Cristiano Ronaldo, while appreciating the proposal, has decided to remain loyal to’Al-Nassr, the team whose captain and symbol he is. The 1985-class center forward does not feel like betraying the trust of teammates and fans to make his own ego happy.

Also, as is well known, Cristiano Ronaldo is negotiating the renewal of his contract with l’Al-Nassr. There is talk of a two-year deal at monster figures. It would not be nice at all to sign with l’Al-Nassr and go to play the Club World Cup with rival Al-Hilal. Sure, it would have been special to see Cristiano Ronaldo on the field against Real Madrid (the blancos are in the same round as Al’Al-Hilal) but it won&#8217t happen. CR7 will watch the Club World Cup as a mere spectator.
