Serie A 2024-2025: Lecce-Napoli, the likely lineups

Not an unthreatening crossroads for Napoli, which at home to Lecce in the 35th A league match scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m., certainly starts favored, but still must be careful of a team that needs to regain a success that has been missing since January 31 to continue the race toward salvation.

Marco Giampaolo’s men have picked up just four points in their last 11 outings, while suffering six narrow defeats in this reporting period. Against Napoli there will still be no Gaby Jean: the defensive line will see, barring any surprises, Guilbert on the right, Gaspar and Baschirotto in the center and Gallo on the left. Krstovic returns in attack after the disqualification that forced him to miss the controversial away match in Bergamo.

On the other side Antonio Conte must deal with the knockout of Alessandro Buongiorno, out for the rest of the season, not to mention the knockouts of Juan Jesus and David Neres. In the center of the defense there is room for Rrahmani and Rafa Marin, in front with Politano and Lukaku could be Spinazzola, in a 4-3-3 with a wide offensive imprint.

Probable formations:

LECCE (4-2-3-1): Falcone; Guilbert, Gaspar, Baschirotto, Gallo; Coulibaly, Ramadani; Pierotti, Pierret, Tete Morente; Krstovic. All. Giampaolo.

NAPOLI (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Marin, Olivera; Anguissa, Lobotka, McTominay; Politano, Lukaku, Spinazzola. All. Conte.
