Serie A 2024-2025: Bologna-Juventus, the likely lineups

On Sunday, May 4 at 8:45 p.m., the Renato Dall’Ara stadium will be the stage for the match between Bologna and Juventus. Vincenzo Italiano’s Bologna arrives at the appointment after the 0-0 obtained against Udinese, a result that left the Rossoblù in fifth place in the standings, just one point behind Juventus.
Juventus, on the other hand, led by Igor Tudor, regained momentum by beating Monza 2-0 on the last day and is desperate to safeguard the fourth place it momentarily holds.
Vincenzo Italiano’s lineup is expected to take the field with the usual 4-2-3-1. Skorupski favored over Ravaglia between the posts, protected by a four-man defensive line presumably composed of Calabria, Beukema, Lucumí and Miranda. In the midfield, the pair formed by Freuler and Ferguson should come down. Behind the only forward, which should still be Dallinga, a trio of trequartisti formed by Orsolini, Odgaard and Dominguez could act.
On the other side, Igor Tudor, in his 3-4-2-1, should rely on Di Gregorio between the posts, with a three-man defensive hinge probably consisting of Kalulu, Veiga and Savona. In the middle of the field Tudor should give space to Locatelli and Thuram. On the flanks Cambiaso and Weah could find space again. On the three-quarter McKennie and Nico Gonzalez behind Kolo Muani who, with a still unrecovered Vlahovic, should lead the Bianconeri attack.
