Bundesliga, Bayern Munich champions: first time for Harry Kane

Thanks to Bayer Leverkusen’s draw at Freiburg (2-2), Bayern Munich are German champions. The Bavarians clinched their 34th Bundesliga title with two days d’advance, having an 8-point lead over the Aspirins (76 to 68).

This season, Kane in a Bavarian shirt has scored 36 goals among all competitions so far: 24 in the Bundesliga, 11 in the Champions League, including one against Inter Milan at San Siro in the quarterfinal return leg, and one in the German Cup.

Kane leads the German league goalscoring charts with 24 goals. Chasing him are Patrick Schick (Bayer Leverkusen) and Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund), paired with 19 goals. With two days to go, the’former Tottenham man is the big favorite to win the top scorer title as well.
