MotoGp, VR46: Fabio Di Giannantonio has clear ideas for Silverstone

Despite a first part of the season below expectations and an overall standings that sees him behind his teammate Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio does not lose his optimism and hopes in Silverstone to reverse the negative trend that followed what, instead, had been a brilliant weekend in Texas.
“Last year, the Silverstone race was the one in which I was closest to the frontrunners – explained Di Giannantonio, who in 2024 at the English circuit had finished ninth in the Sprint Race and fifth in the Sunday Grand Prix -, this year we will try to improve the final result. The good thing is that after the Le Mans weekend we have clear ideas about our base setting”.
“So I can“t wait to get out on the track to do well– added the 1998-born rider, who grew up in the Eur district of Rome. “I want to make the most of the bike we have. I like the track, it is very long and it is similar to Austin, maybe we can bring something we used there, where we got on the podium”.
The goal, for Di Giannantonio, is to get back at least close to the podium after three race weekends without any particular highlights: in Qatar he finished sixth in the Sprint and 16th in the GP, in Jerez he confirmed his sixth place in Saturday’s race by finishing fifth twenty-four’hours later while in Le Mans he finished seventh in the short race and eighth in the long one.
