Tottenham wins Europa League, Manchester United beaten in final

In the all-English final played at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao between two teams that are both in the lower reaches of the Premier League, Tottenham won the Europa League by beating Manchester United 1-0.
The first chance is for the Red Devils and it comes in the 16th minute: Vicario comes out wrong, Diallo from an angled position tries a right-footed shot that crosses across the entire goal mirror and ends up just short.
In the 42nd minute Spurs took the lead: Sarr’s cross from the left for Johnson to skim in the stretch, the ball bounced off the arm of Shaw who was thwarting it and unintentionally ended up in the goal with Onana failing to throw it back out, but the goal was later given to Johnson.
In the second half, unbelievable chance for Anchester United: Vicario again goes butterfly out, lob header by Hojlund towards the unguarded goal but Van de Ven incredibly saves on the line in acrobatics.
In the 74th minute Vicario, on the other hand, is very good at deflecting a right-footed Garnacho shot into a corner, while two minutes earlier it was Bruon Fernandes who wasted a good chance.
Manchester United’s siege is relentless but in the 97th minute Vicario miraculously deflects a Shaw header into a corner and a minute later on the corner Casemiro finds only the outside of the net.
Tottenham thus won its fourth European Cup after the 1962-1963 Cup Winners’ Cup and the 1971-1972 and 1983-1984 UEFA Cups.
