Lewis Hamilton is preparing to experience his first red Monte Carlo, and he doesn&#8217t hide the excitement of facing the Monaco Grand Prix behind the wheel of a Ferrari. At the same time there’s to retrieve competitiveness after a start to the season with more shadows than lights, but the seven-time world champion seems to believe it.

“This year for me every time is a’new experience, and this time it will be stepping into an all red garage in Monaco for the first time – highlighted Hamilton -. It has never happened to me before, and I had always wondered what it felt like to be a Ferrari driver here. I will finally find out, and I can’t wait”.

Ferrari, which, moreover, won in Monaco in 2024 thanks to Charles Leclerc, and Hamilton remembers it well: “I know that he has always been very strong here in recent years. You can see that Ferrari works differently than the cars I have driven in the past. I don&#8217t really know what effect this will have on my weekend, but I&#8217m looking forward to finding out”.

In that sense, according to Hamilton, steps forward at Ferrari have already come. “Last Monday I spent a good morning working in the simulator. Maybe from the outside people don&#8217t understand it, but engineers and mechanics are always working. From Imola they went en bloc to Maranello, on Monday I found them all there. There is still a lot of work we have to do, but the positives are numerous. I have ideas myself, but they have them too, and already on the Monte Carlo weekend we will put them into practice” said the British driver of the Rossa.
