La Liga 2024-2025: Villarreal-Sevilla, the likely lineups

Already certain of a return to the Champions League after three years of absence, Villarreal faces in the last day of La Liga a Sevilla distant relative of the team capable of surprising inside the borders and outside, just back from an opaque season that saw the men of Joaquin Caparros (who took over on April 13 from Garcia Pimienta) reach a very painful salvation.
In contrast to recent outings, the Yellow Submarine will not be able to count on Juan Foyth and Ayoze Perez.
In defense, there will be room in the center for Kambwala and Costa, while in attack it will be Pepé and Barry who will be the first to try to pierce the opponent’s defense. While waiting to see if he will be redeemed by Villarreal, Tajon Buchanan will play his last game on loan from Inter.
On the other side, the Andalusians will take the field with the two-midfield lineup, specifically Agoumé (another player seen in a Nerazzurri shirt) and Gudelj. On the three-quarter line will joust former Milan player Suso, Sow and Lukebakio, supporting Pascual’s only forward. The goal is the fifth overall victory in a calendar year that has brought very little satisfaction to the red and whites.
Probable lineups
