At St. James’ Park, on the final day of the 2024-2025 Premier League, Newcastle United will play their all to finish among the top five in the league and thus qualify for the next Champions League. Facing the Magpies is Everton, who after their emotional farewell at Goodison Park face an away trip with no chance of changing their standings, with 13th place finish already certain.

No news at the infirmary level for the home team, coached by Eddie Howe: out of Joelinton for a month, even more dated the knockout of Hall: in the 4-3-3 of the black and white coach is expected to have Sandro Tonali in midfield, while the attacking trident will be formed, barring surprises, by Isak in the center, with Barnes on the right and Gordon on the left.

The Toffees will take the field with 4-2-3-1, led by David Moyes: in attack space for Beto, formerly of Udinese, supported by Ndiaye, Doucouré and McNeil. On the flanks, watch out for Patterson and Mykolenko. In the starting eleven there will be no room for Branthwaite, Coleman and Tarkowski, all of whom are stopped due to injury.

Probable lineups:

NEWCASTLE UNITED (4-3-3): Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Bruno Guimaraes, Tonali, Murphy; Barnes, Isak, Gordon. All. Howe.

EVERTON (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Patterson, O’Brien, Keane, Mykolenko; Gueye, Garner; Ndiaye, Doucouré, McNeil. Beto. All. Moyes.
