Juventus, Dusan Vlahovic’s farewell now not so certain

Until a few days ago his fate seemed sealed. No renewal and sure sale to the highest bidder. Instead, in light of the many changes at the level of the corporate organizational chart within the Juventus world, the future of Dusan Vlahovic could change.

The striker is coming off a very complicated season. Difficult relationship with Thiago Motta and little space even with Igor Tudor. With only one year of his contract still guaranteed, his adventure in bianconero seemed to have come to an end. Not least because several European (and Arab) clubs would be ready to come forward in a decisive manner.

Now, however, Juventus is changing its skin and someone like Dusan Vlahovic could come in handy. One of the priorities of Damien Comolli, coached by Giorgio Chiellini, would be precisely the future of the Serbian striker. Not to be ruled out that an agreement for contract renewal could be found.

Clearly, to continue together, it would also need a major sacrifice from Dusan Vlahovic himself. At the moment, his salary of 12 million euros per season is considered too high for the Bianconeri coffers. The’idea of reviewing and spreading the contract over several seasons could be the right solution to ensure that the marriage between Dusan Vlahovic and the Old Lady can continue.
