Jannik Sinner does not miss a beat. The world number one in the round of 16 at Roland Garros 2025 won over Andrey Rublev by the score of 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 in two hours and one minute of play.
In the quarters, the South Tyrolean, fresh from the final of the Internazionali d’Italia lost to Carlos Alcaraz after a three-month enforced stop, will face Bublik, victorious 3-1 against Draper.
Sinner trembled only in the first game, in which he had to cancel two break points before holding serve but from there on there was no more match.
The world number one thus celebrated in the best possible way his 52-week reign, which is exactly one year since it began.
