NBA, sensational in New York: Knicks exonerate Tom Thibodeau

The New York Knicks’ best season in 25 years (eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals) was still not enough for coach Tom Thibodeau to deserve confirmation. In fact, the New York franchise has exonerated him through an official memo.
“Our organization is totally focused on the goal of winning a championship for our fans – said Knicks president Leon Rose. “This commitment has led us to the difficult decision of informing Tom Thibodeau that we have decided to take another direction”.
“We cannot thank Tom enough for putting his heart and soul into every single day as coach of the New York Knicks. In these five years he has guided us with class and professionalism, also leading us to great success on the court with four playoff appearances and four series wins”.
“In the end, we made the decision we believe is best for the future of our organization. Tom will always be part of the Knicks family and we sincerely wish him all the best for the future” Rose concluded.
