Gabriele Miani from Cividale to Brindisi

Valtur Brindisi has announced that it has acquired the services of athlete Gabriele Miani, a 204-centimeter Italian forward-center class of 2000 coming from Cividale, a club in which he played for the past five years. The player binds himself to the biancazzurra club with a two-year agreement valid until 2027.
Gabriele Miani has lived as a protagonist the ascent and rise of the UEB Gesteco Cividale club on the Italian scene. Five seasons full of personal and team satisfactions, achieving promotion to Serie A2 in 2022 and subsequent consecration in the second Italian championship (12 points average and 5.8 rebounds in 26 average minutes of usage in the 2023/24 season).
The team’s main goal was to promote him to the Serie A2.
During the last sports season he had a starring year reaching the promotion playoffs during which he averaged 13 points with 3.6 rebounds and 58% in shooting beyond the arc. In the series against Forli he consistently scored in double figures updating his best scoring performance of 21 points in game three.
The highest rating of the year (34) was reached in the home match won against Vigevano, a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds with percentages close to perfection: 3/4 from two, 3/3 from three and 3/4 from the lunette.
In the two season crossovers with coach Piero Bucchi’s Valtur Brindisi, he showed all his qualities helping Cividale to get the double win, especially at PalaPentassuglia where he was MVP and top scorer with 19 points as a result of high two-point shooting percentages totaling 8/12.
