Carlos Alcaraz knows Jannik Sinner will come back stronger than before

Carlos Alcaraz got the better of Jannik Sinner in both the final of the Rome Internationals and in the’last act of Roland Garros. Intense matches in which the Spaniard found a way to always take home the trophy. Despite his two recent victories, Carlos Alcaraz knows that his number one rival will come back stronger than before.
The Spaniard, first on the Race to the ATP Finals but second in the ATP rankings; chose Queen’s tournament to better prepare for Wimbledon, the big new date that could bring him and Jannik Sinner to challenge each other on the court again.
He knows that, at Wimbledon, he will find a Jannik Sinner very determined to get revenge, sportingly speaking, for what happened in Rome and Paris: “I can imagine what he may have gone through, how much the Paris final hurt him. The great thing about tennis, however, is that you never stop… Jannik will come back with a strength and motivation he has never seen before, also because Wimbledon is a tournament that exalts him, he can play moto well on the grass and of course he is a candidate to get to the final and win it” the Spaniard’s words to Gazzetta dello Sport.
In short, Carlos Alcaraz does not think he has “entered the mind” of the Blue, rather he expects a prompt redemption of the current world number one. Many are waiting, anxiously, for Wimbledon and hoping for a new confrontation between the two tennis kings.
