Italvolley in China, Paola Egonu and teammates landed in Hong Kong

The Azzurri have landed in China for week 2 of the Volleyball Nations League. At 6:00 a.m. local time, Italy landed at Hong-Kong International Airport where the curtain will rise on Pool 5 of VNL 2025 from Wednesday, June 18. Bulgaria (June 18 at 7:30 a.m. Italian time), Thailand (June 19 at 11:30 a.m. Italian time), Japan (June 20 at 2:30 p.m. Italian time) and the hosts China (June 22 at 2 p.m. Italian time) will be the opponents of the national team led by CT Julio Velasco, which comes into Pool 5 on the strength of second place in the overall standings behind Japan (same number of wins but with 1 point more).
The Hong-Kong week will be officially presented tomorrow, Tuesday, June 17, at the customary launch press conference attended by Italy’s powerhouse Sarah Fahr. The event will be streamed live on the Volleyball World YouTube channel (click for live stream HERE) starting at 3:00 a.m. Italian time.
