Diego Coppola says goodbye to Hellas Verona and flies to Premier League

An Italian defender lands in the Premier League: he is Diego Coppola, class of 2003, one of the architects of Hellas Verona’s salvation. Coppola, from Verona, has in fact been sold to Brighton & Hove Albion. Cost of the transaction: 11 million euros in the coffers of the Scaliger club, which will now have to replace both him and the Argentine Valentini who returned to the defensive line at the end of his loan to Fiorentina.
Coppola is currently playing with the national Under-21 team in the European Championship and recently made his debut with the national A team, in the match lost in Norway last June 6.
