Roma, Gian Piero Gasperini adamant about Paulo Dybala’s future

In the Roma household, it is the day of Gian Piero Gasperini’s first press conference as coach of the Giallorossi. The technician from Grugliasco, who left Atalanta after nine years full of satisfaction, is ready for his new adventure on the Giallorossi bench, where he takes the place of Claudio Ranieri, who remains at the club in a more sidelined role.
Of the topics discussed by Gasperini in front of reporters, what he said about Paulo Dybala is significant: the new Roma coach denies rumors of a farewell to the Argentine (with whom he shared part of the experience at Palermo) and, on the contrary, raises the ambition to include him in his own technical project. “For him, as for everyone, the hope is that he is always well” said Gasperini speaking of ‘La Joya’.
“We have an’idea of a team in which everyone has to row in the same direction – he added -. Then we will talk about how to improve individuals: the goal is to raise the level of everyone so that the team can benefit, it is a characteristic of my path. There are no unsuitable players for my game, but the’goal is clear: first they have to be well”.
“At Atalanta I had a lot of strong strikers, I just tried to bring out the best from them– Gasperini further explained. “My teams have scored a lot of goals, my way of playing is that and it is something I want to repeat here as well. For me we have to work on who is now in the squad, later on we can talk about the market. The goal? The maximum would be to get into the Champions League, for more it”s still early.
