Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia panned: "He only wins if Marc Marquez lets him"

First part of the MotoGp World Championship to forget for Pecco Bagnaia: the Piedmontese rider has so far won just one race, the one in Austin, has never asserted himself in the sprint races and now has a delay from Marc Marquez of 97 points. The long-awaited duel with the Catalan has never been there, and so far the number 93 has dominated the scene along with his brother Alex.
In an interview to Manuel Pecino’s podcast, former rider Alex Barros was drastic: “He will only win if Marquez allows him to, that is, if Marc falls or makes some serious mistake. But Marquez doesn’t make mistakes, so I see it rather difficult. Maybe he could be more competitive at Mugello“.
“The weekend in Aragon was very difficult for Pecco: Saturday’s race was horrible, Sunday was better, but I don’t know if he can do more than that. He put too much pressure on himself and he is not fighting with Marc”.
At Mugello, history could repeat itself: “If Pecco gets behind Alex again, Marc will do his usual race”.
