Fabio Caserta is the new coach of Bari

Bari announced through an official note the name of the new coach: Fabio Caserta. The’former Catanzaro coach has signed a two-year contract with the biancorosso club until June 30, 2027.
Aclass ’78, a native of Melito di Porto Salvo, Reggio Calabria, coach Caserta boasts a long career as a midfielder having worn, among others, the shirts of Catania, Palermo, Atalanta and Juve Stabia. Just with the campani closes his career as a player in the season ’14-’15 giving start, after a championship as deputy of coach Gaetano Fontana, to that as a technician just with the ‘vespe’ in the season ’17-’18; with the Gialloblù won an astonishing promotion to Serie B at the end of the ’18-’19 championship by mathematically winning the Group C of Lega Pro already at the end of April, earning at the end of the season the’coveted recognition of the Panchina d’Oro (Golden Bench).
In the ’20-’21 season, he sits on the bench of Perugia, which he brings back to the cadetteria at the first attempt; he then goes on to lead Benevento, which he leads all the way to the playoff semifinals, being eliminated by Pisa by virtue of the worst ranking at the end of the regular season. After his experience with Cosenza, he guided Catanzaro to the playoff semifinals last year.
