Presenting the MotoGP Italian Grand Prix d’Italy, which will be staged next weekend at the Mugello racetrack in Scarperia (Florence), was Ducati Corse general manager Gigi Dall’Igna.

“We like Mugello, it is our home track and so we hope to do well, however, precisely because it is our home track, it can be a little bit’complicated and a little bit’difficult especially from a psychological point of view: but come on, we hope to do well,” dall’Igna told ANSA.

With the exception of the 2021 edition in which the Frenchman Fabio Quartararo on Yamaha dominated, since 2017 victory has only been a matter between Ducatisti and the engineer still has well in mind the one-two achieved last year with Pecco Bagnaia triumphant in the GP and Enea Bastianini second thanks to a breathtaking overtaking on Jorge Martin at the last corner of the last lap: “I repeat, it is a track that we like and we like to win and so we hope to succeed”.

In the meantime, the Ducati team announced that on Sunday Marc and Pecco&#8217s bikes will race with special liveries that will represent the Renaissance with the values, symbols and colors of such a crucial historical period in the political, artistic and cultural history of Italy, which had its cradle in Florence. On one side you can admire Leonardo with the ’work the “Old Condottiero”. On the other Machiavelli, the thinker who embodies the “dark side”.
