Reigning Olympic champion women’s Italy coached by Julio Velasco overwhelmed Thailand 3-0 at the Kai Thak Arena in Hong Kong in the second match of the second phase of the Nations League.
This is the sixth win in six matches for the Azzurri, who will face Japan tomorrow, another team with full points, on par with Turkey, although they have played five matches instead of six.
25-19 25-20 25-18 was the score in favor of Paola Egonu and her teammates against the Thais. For our opposite number the points were 13, 10 for Alice Degradi and for Adhuoljok Malual.
