Moto3, Dennis Foggia returns to the podium and gets emotional

Dennis Foggia returns to the MotoGP podium after some difficult years.

The Aspar team centaur managed to take third place at Mugello in the Moto3 Italian Grand Prix d’Italia. The’finish was in a sprint, which with 17-year-old Spaniard Maximo Quiles, also from the Aspar team, who took his first career victory.

Quiles was just 6 thousandths ahead of compatriot Alvaro Carpe and pinned teammate Dennis Foggia. The Rome-born driver, who has not tasted the podium since 2022, was moved to tears at the end of the race: “It’was fantastic”.
