Nereo Bonato leaves Cagliari: replacement already chosen

Through an official note, Cagliari has announced the separation with sporting director Nereo Bonato. After more than two and a half years, the roads between the Rossoblù club and the former Cremonese, Udinese, and Sassuolo manager thus parted.

He arrived at the Rossoblù in November 2022, and with experience and professionalism he has given an important impetus to the achievement of sporting results: first the immediate promotion to Serie A, then the maintenance of the category in the next two seasons.

A person of values, serious and loyal, he has been a point of reference for the entire club with his competence and balance; invaluable in these years has been his work on resource management and planning, always carried out with the utmost dedication and passion.

In Nereo Bonato’s place, according to Sky Sport reports, should come Guido Angelozzi, who left Frosinone after five years.
