Reggiana basketball, reinforcement under the basket: Luca Severini

By means of an official statement, Pallacanestro Reggiana has announced an important reinforcement under the basket: Luca Severini, an Azzurra forward who has signed a two-year contract with the red and white club until June 2027.
Born in Loreto on June 20, 1996, Severini is a 204-centimeter wing who trained basketball between Virtus Siena and Pistoia Basket, where he made his Serie A debut in the 2014/2015 season.
After experiences in Casale Monferrato and Treviso came success in the top league with the jersey of Tortona, winning promotion in 2021, the playoffs in the next three seasons, and the quarterfinals of the Basketball Champions League a few months ago.
Last season he finished with 4 points in 16′ average, with a high of 11 against Scafati and Brescia. Severini has made 25 appearances on the senior national team, being among CT Pozzecco’s 12 call-ups to the 2023 World Cup.
