Three legends of world mountaineering will take the stage together
DF Sport Specialist has announced “Life Mountaineering,” the extraordinary and unrepeatable event that will feature the three living legends of mountaineering: Reinhold Messner, Hans Kammerlander and Simone Moro.
The three great protagonists will take the stage together on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the DF Sport Specialist store in Barzanò, in the province of Lecco, to share with the public an exciting journey among epic feats, reflections and visions on the world of mountains.
A special occasion desired by Sergio Longoni, founder of DF Sport Specialist and passionate supporter of mountaineering and its great stories, to offer a moment of discussion and inspiration.
Messner, Kammerlander and Moro will tell their stories in a narrative that interweaves past, present and future, tracing their experiences at the human limit, their victories and defeats, their most daring climbs and their most difficult choices. Together, they will transform the mountain into a powerful metaphor for existence, celebrating beauty, knowledge, passion and that unquenchable desire to “climb again.”
The event will be hosted by Luca Calvi and Vinicio Stefanello, authoritative voices and profound connoisseurs of the world of mountaineering and mountain storytelling.
To further enrich the atmosphere of the evening, there will be live musical accompaniment by singer-songwriter Erica Boschiero and musician Sergio Marchesini, who will accompany the mountaineers’ stories with evocative and engaging sounds, creating an immersive and exciting experience.
