Fabio Quartararo hits the pole position for the MotoGP Grand Prix d’Holland, which will be run on Sunday at the Assen circuit. The French Yamaha rider preceded Pecco Bagnaia, riding the first of the Ducatis. An outstanding result for the Piedmontese rider, who was able to precede Alex Marquez. Second row for Marc Marquez, fourth after the two crashes that marked his difficult Friday.

Quartararo stopped the clock on a time of 1’30.651, ahead of Bagnaia by just 28 thousandths. Alex Marquez stopped at +0.160, while Marc Marquez suffered a gap of 220 thousandths. Marco Bezzecchi and Franco Morbidelli followed, with Fabio Di Giannantonio only eighth after his historic podium finish at Mugello.

For Quartararo this is the fourth pole position of the season and the 20th overall since he has been racing in MotoGP. For him it is the second time in that of Assen, after 2019. Yamaha itself then reaches four pole positions in 2025, a year dominated by Ducati in terms of victories but in which the Japanese manufacturer is undoubtedly taking several satisfactions on Saturdays.
