Amateur League makes an assist to prevention
Sports becoming ambassadors of messages supporting prevention and protecting health. This is the goal of the “An assist to prevention” project implemented by the CSR Area of the Amateur League, during the 2025 Beach Soccer Serie A championship.
The initiative is dedicated, in particular, to raising awareness of skin cancer prevention. The effort brings together players, coaches, families and fans.
The goal of this campaign, in particular, is skin health protection. In fact, on the occasion of the Beach Soccer season, scheduled until Aug. 9 between Alghero and Cirò Marina, informative educational content on the topic of health prevention developed in collaboration with AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research, the campaign’s charity partner, will be disseminated through the digital channels of LND and the sports clubs involved.
The campaign’s goal is to protect skin cancer.
“The National Amateur League is committed not only to promoting the practice of sports – declares Luca De Simoni, CSR Area coordinator of the Amateur League- but also to spreading the culture of prevention and health. Together with AIRC we are launching a campaign dedicated to the prevention of skin cancer, a particularly important issue during the beach soccer season, where exposure to the sun is constant. Informing, raising awareness and promoting correct behaviors represents the way sport can contribute concretely to health protection.”

Uriage, as a partner of Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, will actively contribute by providing essential products for prevention and care of sun-exposed skin, becoming a key player in field activities.
