In a Club World Cup that is reserving more than a few surprises, Juventus will also try to shake off the bad feelings felt in the final match of the group stage against Manchester City (2-5 the score) to attempt the coup against one of the favorites of the eve, Real Madrid. It is played at 9 p.m. Italian time on Tuesday, 3 p.m. local time at the’Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Igor Tudor, after indulging in some experiments (without too much success) against the Citizens, returns to what, net of unavailability, is the typical lineup: eyes on, mainly, Kenan Yildiz and Francisco Conceiçao, as well as Randal Kolo Muani, who are entrusted with the task of piercing the opponent’s defense. Obligatory choices, on the other hand, in the defensive department: possible use of Rugani in place of the battered Gatti.

On the other hand, the Blancos are immediately looking for their identity under the new leadership of Xabi Alonso, who took over from Carlo Ancelotti on June 1. The Basque coach is expected to rely on a classic 3-5-2 with ex-Blancos Huijsen in defense, Arda Guler in midfield where Bellingham will have license to move further forward if needed, and an offensive duo consisting of Gonzalo Garcia and Vinicius Jr.

Probable lineups

REAL MADRID (3-5-2): Courtois; Rudiger, Tchouameni, Huijsen; Alexander-Arnold, Arda Guler, Bellingham, Valverde, Fran Garcia; Gonzalo Garcia, Vinicius Jr. All. Xabi Alonso.

JUVENTUS (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Rugani, Kelly; Alberto Costa, Locatelli, Thuram, Cambiaso; Conceicao, Yildiz; Kolo Muani. All. Tudor.
