Italvolley, the 14 summoned for week 3 of VNL

It will start from Apeldoorn, Netherlands, on Italy’s Volleyball Nations League journey. On Monday, the Azzurri will fly to the Netherlands where Pool 7 of VNL is scheduled from July 9 to 13.

The only national team still unbeaten, Italy will go in the hunt for arithmetic qualification to the Finals in Lodz (July 23-27) in a week that will see, Danesi and her teammates, make their debut on Wednesday, July 9 at 5 p.m. against Belgium.

The following day, the Azzurri will cross Serbia (5 p.m.) and then, after a one-day break, cross Turkey on Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m. Finally, on Sunday, July 13 at 4 p.m., the curtain will come down on the intercontinental phase of VNL with the challenge that will see Italy take the court against the hosts Holland. After a week of intense work in Cervia, Italian coach Julio Velasco has chosen the 14 athletes who will fly to the Netherlands for week 3 of the Volleyball Nations League.
