“This is incredible! It was an impressive performance, both for me and for my team–said Gigante after the finish -. My teammates were amazing, they supported me all day long. I am really grateful to them, they believed in me even after my iliac artery surgery, which kept me away from racing for six months. I was afraid I would not be able to return to my former level, but they always encouraged me. This victory is for them and for all those who have always stood by me”.
