Alexander Zverev, despite what happened in the Wimbledon tournament, confessed in an interview with Tennis365 that he still feels he is in the wake of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner: “I am not as far off as some might think”.

“Maybe it hasn&#8220t been my best year, but I don&#8217t think I&#8217m as far behind as some people might think. Right now, Carlos is the wonder boy. He brings a lot of energy to the field. He and Jannik are the players to beat. I just hope to spoil the party a little bit’ I think I can do it”.

Chapter Laver Cup: “It was great to participate; it is always a great team effort. Many factors influence the decision of which team finishes first. The way Casper Ruud played his doubles on the last day was incredible. It was probably the best doubles I”ve ever seen him play.
